Why It Matters
The People
There are more than 57,000 individuals with disabilities in Sonoma County according to the the Sonoma County census. Individuals with disabilities are at greater risk for social and financial isolation due to lack of employment.
The Businesses
Individuals with disabilities make up 20% of the U.S. population, by hiring people who represent everyone businesses are able to tap into top tier talent while at the same time gaining access to the one trillion dollars ($1,000,000,000,000) in spending these individuals and their families contribute to the U.S. economy every year.
The Community
The mission of equality in employment is supported by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, City Mayors, and the families of individuals with disabilities.
